What first drew you to art?
I grew up in a very artistic family, where I was always surrounded by creativity and my natural artistic abilities were celebrated and encouraged. My love of art stayed with me through school and into university, and now my career as an artist and graphic designer.

What influences your work the most?
In my early life I was mostly influenced by my mother, who is a very talented artist and instructor. Now, I’m very influenced by nature’s abstract textures and patterns. I find joy in the details; the veins of a leaf or the reflection of light on water.

What themes or concepts are reflected in your work?
My mother was an artist and my father was an architect. Using this as an inspiration, I like to find harmony and balance between organic and structured, fluid and linear.

What feeling do you hope to convey through this series?
My hope for these pieces is that they can be a source of inspiration, calmness, or joy for the viewer. As their eye travels through each piece, I hope they can discover something different every time they look at it.
