I've had them a couple weeks now and they seem very sturdy and go through the dishwasher and microwave well. Would definitely recommend, if your one the fence, just do it! You won't regret.

These are perfect! They fit in the dishwasher for one thing, and the color and texture are perfect. They have a handmade, Japanese sort of earthiness, and the blue color is subtle and looks like stone.

I bought the whole set (dinner plates, salad plates, breakfast bowls, pasta bowls) not on sale and with my own money - and I have NO regrets. If you are considering it, do it! Think about it this way: You will use these every day, possibly for the rest of your life if you take care of them. They are super high quality, handmade, and beautiful - they literally bring me joy every time I open my kitchen cupboard. I am not usually one to review things online, but I seriously love these and I think you will, too! One thing that I haven't mentioned in a review yet: I LOVED that they came in all-cardboard packaging. NO plastic. Everything was packed so well, and I really appreciate that attention to detail & care for the planet.

I bought the whole set (dinner plates, salad plates, breakfast bowls, pasta bowls) and I am reviewing ALL of them because that's how much I love my Fable ceramics. The color is so beautiful, and I love that there is a slight variation in each one - it adds to the unique handmade feel of the whole set. These plates are perfect for salad (obviously) but I also find myself reaching for them at breakfast and lunch, because they're the perfect size. All my Fable ceramics are worth every penny. I probably talk about them too much and all my friends are bored - but I'm not sorry! I love them!

I am the type of person who likes to buy once and cry once, but I haven't cried AT ALL about spending money on these bowls.
