Meet Anne

An artist and designer based in Hanover, Germany, Anne Schäfer creates handmade one-of-a-kind ceramic sculptures and contemporary fine art prints that embrace a minimalist and timeless style—a reflection of her strong sense of aesthetics.

What first drew you to art?
I started painting as a kid, and creativity has always been an essential and natural part of my life. With limitless avenues for artistic expression, I know I will never be bored; one lifetime simply isn't enough to explore them all.

What influences your work the most?
One of my most significant influences is nature, which overwhelms me with its beauty day by day. Much of my creativity comes from within. Creating means expressing myself and bringing out all the shapes and colors inside me into the world.

What themes or concepts are reflected in your work?
I find joy in minimalistic, timeless, and aesthetic artworks. Balanced creations are a form of meditation for me.

What feeling do you hope to convey through this series?
With these three minimalist artworks, I created a series that enriches the viewer's surroundings while inspiring them to unfold their own creativity without overwhelming them visually. What I hope most is that the viewer feels joy when looking at these creations.

    Beautiful, serene, clean aesthetic artwork

    I love the piece I bought. It looks incredible in the rounded frame. Very peaceful and meditative. The colours and composition calm my mind. Wonderful price for a large piece of signed artwork like this. I've come back to buy the other two framed prints in this series. Will probably end up completing another set as well in the near future.
